What is the difference between orbital and reiprocating when it comes to sawzall type saws?

I noticed that orbital costs more, just wondering if there is any major differences in functionality, or just durability. I wont use it often, but want it to function well. Thanks!

A reciprocating saw has a motion like an automated hand saw like your grandpa used to use before there were circular saws. It’s very handy for sawing in places where a circular saw will not reach. I have a reciprocating saw and use it every now and then. I think it’s mostly useful in construction (cutting out a header). You can insert a metal blade and cut through metal pipe. I’ve never owned an orbital saw. I think it’s useful in furniture making, crafts, and in small construction jobs (cutting a hole in sheetrock).
