power tools shop

Do I have to be strong to use power tools?
So I’m taking “introduction to green construction” (it’s like wood shop, but geared towards actual construction), and we’ll be using skil saws and stuff. I’m 15, a girl, a total couch potato, short, and I’m not strong (at all). But that doesn’t matter too much right?
Higher strength generally is required when the cutting edge of any given tool is dull.
Sharper cutting tools also reduce accidents, because of the control of the tool is less dependent on brute strength.
Learning the control elements of tools is more important than brute strength; such as body positioning, height of work in relation to arm and hand positions; bracing the body for balance and control when the torque of the motor (or hand tool) is started.
Hand strength is more important to tool control, as opposed to upper body strength.
