2002 Honda Accord 3.0 Timing Belt, Special tools required?
I currently have a 2002 Accord about half way to getting to the timing belt, I have air tools and my Ingersol Rand 1/2” Impact wrench can’t remove the bolt on the harmonic balancer. Is there a special tool to hold the crankshaft in order to use breaker bar and cheater pipe to get this 19mm bolt out?
Yes . If u notice the hex or 6 point shape around the harmonic balancer that’s were u install the special tool to prevent the engine from spining. I dont know how much cost we have one at the dealer u can check the tool truck or check with a Honda place. I know some Honda places will loan tool for $$$$$.. Hope it helps, good luck.
