How much wax does it take to make a 4.75 x 2.75 pillar candle?
Only serious answers please, I need to make 36 pillar candles with a specialty mold that I found for my wedding in August and need to see how much this will cost as soon as possible, please help!!

it depends on how much you spill ….also its a basic math question of volume . id get the molds and fill it with water and pour it out into a measuring cup and see exactly what you need I would also allow for some waste , drippage sticking to the pan you cook it in etc .
just cook enough, as you go along and by the time you get to the last one you will know exactly how much you need for the last unit .
and what happens if one gets broken on the way to the reception ,id make 40 just to be safe ……..
its your wedding ,.. try to plan for the problems that will arise
