I just received a speeding ticket in VA & live in OH, will it show on my driving record?
Once upon a time there were several states that did not reciprocate driving information with other states. I moved from VA to OH in 2002 and purchased insurance and my record came back clean, but it was not. I had three recent speeding tickets that did not show in Ohio.
Now, it is 2009 and I don’t know if Virginia shares information with Ohio or not. I am due to renew my insurance in one month. The ticket is for 80 in a 65.
I’m trying to find out if Virginia is still a non-reciprocating state. If they are now a reciprocating state, is there any way for me to renew insurance and have this ticket “lost.”
And, Yes…I am planning to pay it right away.
