What type of drill bit do I need to get through VERY hard steel (camshaft)?
I am drilling out a camshaft to put a grease fitting clutch on the kids go-kart. The shaft IS THE HARDEST thing I have ever tried to get through. Is there a certain type of drill bit that I can get to get through the shaft? I’ve tried some of my best bits and they don’t do ANYTHING to it. Thanks (Something at home depot perhaps?)
Carbide bits would probably work
