Opening a film roll catridge to remove negatives?
I’m a long-time amature but have never tried to develop any my self. I need to know is there a special tool or do I just “pop” it open?
I use a bottle opener and gently lever off the flatter end of the cannister by prising it up a bit, turning round, prising again.
***Bear in mind you have to do this in TOTAL DARKNESS and load it onto the developing spool in darkness too***
Best practice this with the lights on then with your eyes shut until you can do it 100% every time before trying on a live roll!
