What is the best winch on the market for a reasonable price?
I own a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 4×4, and have a tendency to off road whenever I get the chance. I’m presently having a 1/4″ steel winch bumper designed by a friend of mine who needed a project for an advanced welding course in college. I need to know which winch I should plan on using so he can design the cradle for it to rest upon. My truck weighs about 5,600 lbs….so I’m thinking an 8,000 lb winch or better would put me over the top during those times when I need a yank. What do you guys think…Superwinch, or Warn? Thanks
